Conveniently located in Upstate Pennsylvania in Tioga county, a mile away from the great town of Wellsboro. Sits the amazingly fantastic vactation rental the Christman's Hideaway! The cabin is just minutes away from downtown Wellsboro, PA, The PA Grand Canyon, PA Route 6, and many other local trails, fishing spots and fun places. You can drive in wherever you are, or you can fly in too! We are two hours away from Frederick Douglas Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC) where you can fly in and relax when you get here.
The cabin is a peaceful, fully furnished, 3-bedroom, 2 full baths, fully equipped kitchen with cool central air/heat and free Wi-Fi furnished with towels and first use linens, most importantly sleeps 1 to 10 comfortably.
We have plenty of parking for pickup trucks with boats, motorcycles and cars. We also have a propane grill, fire pit with a grill for charcoal grilling, picnic table and patio chairs to enjoy your meals outside or enjoy smore's by the fire.
It does rain here occasionally, and we have you covered with two flat screen smart tv's, Blu-ray player, with a small DVD library, games like cards, UNO, Candyland, checkers, as well as books and comfortable beds to nap in. When it is not raining we have 5.6 acres of land to explore, with a small pond, two streams, lots of trees and the sound of beautiful birds to fill your ears, and that is just inside the camp. There is way more to explore outside our camp, with lots of fun experiences minutes away by car.
Don't worry about leaving your doggo in a kennel, we also accept good pets. Just let us know you are bringing them along.
We are close to Wellsboro, Pine Creek, The Pennsylvania Grand Canyon, The Pine Creek Rail Trail, a 60 mi. long biking/hiking trail thru The Pine Creek Gorge. Minutes away from downtown Wellsboro's world famous gas powered lights and the city's restaurant and shopping areas.
We are near thousands of acres of PA State Forest/State Game Lands for hunting, fishing (We literaly have two awesome lakes less than 5 minutes away from camp), hiking, biking, star gazing, and just plain old getting away from it all.
